1. A: Navigate to Cisco Web Inbox. Log in using your TAMHSC username and password. Click the Settings link, then click the Passwords drop-down menu and select Change PIN. Your new PIN must be at least six digits long.
    A: Navigate to myphone and log in with your TAMHSC username and password. Click Phone Settings. Enter your desired numbers and labels. When you have finished, print the list for easy reference. In order to use your abbreviated dials, enter the number of the abbreviated dial on the phone keypad. Then press the AbbrDial soft key.
    A: Press the Hold soft key to place the call on hold. To retrieve the call press Resume.
    A: Press the soft key located directly below the word Hold. Press the soft key located directly below the words New Call to get a dial tone, then dial the desired number. To return to the first caller, press the soft key located directly below the word Hold to place the second caller on hold. Highlight the original caller’s ID, then press the soft key located directly below the words Resume.
    A: During the call push the Transfer soft key. This places the caller on hold. Next, dial the number to which you wish to transfer the call. After the line starts ringing you can remain on the line until the party answers or press the Transfer soft key again to complete the transfer right away. The transfer is not completed until you press the Transfer key again. To cancel the transfer and return to the original call, press End Call then the Resume soft key.
    A: During the call push the Transfer soft key, then press the five-digit phone number. Press the Transfer soft key again to complete the transfer.
    A: During a call press the Mute button. The button will light up with a red color to indicate that the mute is active. To deactivate the mute, press Mute again.
    A: During a call press the More soft key and then the Confrn soft key. Next, dial the number of the line you wish to join to the call. When the call connects press the Confrn softkey again. You can connect up to three callers.
    A: If you are already in a call and another party is calling your line, and you would like for them to join your existing call. Answer the incoming call, and then press up on the navigation pad to select the original call which is now old hold. Now press the More button, then press Join.
    A: Press the CFwdALL soft key, then dial the number your wish to forward your calls to. The phone display will be updated to indicate that call forwarding is turned on. To cancel the forward press the CFwdALL soft key.
    A: Press the Directories button then press 5. Press the up and down buttons to navigate to select the Last, First, or Number fields search option. Using the dial pad, enter the last name or first name for the entry. Press the Search soft key to find your selection. Use the navigation button to select the correct number. Then press the Dial soft key. If you have selected a number that is long distance, press the Edit Dial soft key and enter 8 1 before the number.
    A: Press the Messages button. You will be asked for your password. For new users, Enter 1234567. Follow the voice instructions to set up your personalized greetings and to change your password.soft key.
    A: On your Cisco phone: Press the Messages button and follow the voice instructions.
    A: To check your voicemail from an outside line: 

    1. Dial your line
    2. Wait for voicemail to pick up
    3. As soon as it picks up, type the star key *
    4. You will be prompted for your ID, this is the 5 digit extension at the end of your office phone number. For example, if your office number is 979-436-0903, your ID would be 60903. Type that in followed by the pound key #.
    5. Next you will be prompted for your pin followed by pound. Once you enter this, you’ll have access to your voicemail!

    A: You may also check your voicemail by visiting Cisco Web Inbox and logging in with your TAMHSC username and password. In order to access Cisco Web Inbox when off campus, you will need to use VPN.

    A: Press the CFwdALL button then the Messages button. In order to cancel the forward press CFwdALL.
    Step 1: Open Outlook and select the File tab at the top of the screen: Voicemail - Outlook (step 1) Step 2: Click the Add Account button Step 3: Select “Manually configure server settings or additional server types” and click Next: Voicemail - Outlook (step 3) Step 4: Select “POP or IMAP” and click Next: Voicemail - Outlook (step 4) Step 5: Enter the following information and then click Next: Your Name – enter your name Email Address – enter your TAMHSC email address Account Type – click on the drop down menu and select IMAP Incoming mail server – voicemail.voip.tamhsc.edu Outgoing mail server – smtp-relay.tamhsc.edu Username – enter your TAMHSC username Password – enter your TAMHSC password Check the box for Remember password Voicemail - Outlook (step 5) Step 6: Click on Finish: Voicemail - Outlook (step 6) Step 7: Your voicemail mailbox will now be listed on the left hand side of your Outlook screen as an additional account. When you receive a voicemail it will show up as a new message here.
    A: Navigate to myphone and log in with your TAMHSC username and password. Click Phone Settings, then click on Download User Guide.
