Your site has two navigation areas. The primary navigation is the horizontal top bar of links beneath the header. Vertical secondary navigation is available as well.
Editing the primary navigation in the header
By default, each new page you create will be added to the top navigation bar and it will match the page order and hierarchy you set for your pages.
To use a different set of links in the header, you can create a new navigation menu and select the option to add your new menu to the Primary Menu area. More information about custom menus is available in the WordPress.com documentation.
Editing sidebar navigation
The sidebar navigation on your site can be used for many kinds of navigation. In the sidebar, you can add blocks of content called widgets to add items such as a search box, text, a list of pages and more. To get to the widgets, browse to Appearance > Widgets in the left navigation.
