After you have been given access by the Web Services Group, you can access the CMS at cms.tamhsc.edu. We recommend using Firefox or Chrome for the CMS, some versions of IE don’t work well with Cascade.
At login, enter your TAMHSC username and password. Leave the ‘Remember Me’ box unchecked for security reasons.
The Dashboard & Website Area
The Home Screen is the opening page that you see after logging in (see below). The first thing you should do is go to the top let of your screen and select a site.
After selecting the site, the Dashboard has 3 distinct sections:
1. Navigation Panel – Left portion of Dashboard – is used to locate and select assets.
It consists of the Asset Tree with folders, pages and files for the entire TAMHSC website. You will only see your portion of the site when you login.
2. Toolbar – Top portion of Dashboard – allows you to perform a set of actions.
To the left:
Cascade 8 Logo – goes back to Cascade Server Home screen
Add Content – creates new assets
Site Content – goes back to the Dashboard (the picture above)
To the right:
My Content – session history
Your Name – personal settings / preferences / Log out
